about

Synclassica – yesterday's music tomorrow. Classical music with synthesizers.

What would the great classical composers have done if they lived today? Probably they had used the synthesizer in their composing. The Synclassica project is a new series of music albums that humbly want to pay tribute to classical music through alternative interpretations, where electronic music meets the timeless masterpieces from baroque, classicism and the romantic era.

Three hundred years ago, Johann Sebastian Bach approached the culmination of his artistic creation and the immense wonderful musical heritage he left behind.
Now, in October 2018, it is also fifty years since Wendy Carlos created the first recording of electronic classical music that reached the big masses, through the album 'Switched on Bach'.
The technological development has since been fast and successors, like Isao Tomita and William Orbit, has enriched our common musical world, with new classic electronic interpretations.
It is thus with humility and great respect that I (Synclassica) has approached Bach's musical legacy. In nine new interpretations, I have searched for something unique to add to this vast and beloved works. My wish is that you the listener find your place and home in my contemporary interpretations of this timeless music.

'Electronic Bach' is released worldwide on all major streaming services on October 26, 2018. You can order the album for download here on Bandcamp: synclassica.bandcamp.com
